EXPERIENCE
Thomas is the founder and owner of the company and combines solid legal expertise with a strong business economics background from Copenhagen Business School.
As a trained lawyer and attorney, he has many years of experience advising companies on complex legal and business issues – both in Denmark and internationally, with a particular focus on Dubai and the Middle East. The latter has meant that he has been interviewed on TV, radio and other news media on several occasions.
His career spans a wide range: From teaching contract law at the University of Copenhagen to working at Plesner Law Firm in Copenhagen and advising the Dubai-based law firm Argentum Law. This unique combination gives Thomas a deep understanding of both legal details and business strategy.
Thomas is passionate about creating clear, practical solutions that help companies navigate complex legal landscapes safely and optimize their business opportunities abroad.

Michelle Nielsen is a licensed real estate agent educated in Dubai and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Since 2018, Michelle has been working as a real estate agent in Dubai and has a RERA license, which means that she is officially a certified real estate agent in Dubai. She has sold many homes in the area, and her primary clientele consists of Danish clients.
Michelle has achieved great success in her career, and due to her expertise, she is often used by major real estate developers such as EMAAR in promotional videos for their new projects. Several of these videos can still be seen on her LinkedIn profile.
At Friis Legal, Michelle helps clients find the right home in Dubai and also assists with administrative tasks, where she provides valuable support with her in-depth knowledge of company formation and visa processes in Dubai.

Frederik holds a Master of Laws from Aarhus University and has a solid background in the many disciplines of commercial law. Already during his studies, he showed a great interest in tax law and corporate law, which have since become his primary areas of work. After graduating, Frederik has built up practical experience through employment at both TVC Advokatfirma and Advokatfirmaet Tommy V. Christiansen – two firms with strong profiles in the tax area.
Frederik has thus gained special insight into the complex rules that apply to companies and private individuals when it comes to tax matters, structuring and corporate law issues. He has worked extensively with questions about taxation, company structures, ownership and optimization of legal frameworks for both small and large companies.
Frederik's strength lies instead at the intersection of tax law and corporate law, where he can combine theoretical knowledge and practical experience to the benefit of clients seeking advice on both operations, restructuring and long-term planning.
In short, Frederik's primary specialties are commercial law, tax law and corporate law – and throughout his career he has proven that he can safely navigate the often complicated rules that apply in these areas.

Lawyer on blackmail: Does not affect the trial
In the Elvira Pitzner case, Thomas Friis Nielsen assessed to Ekstrabladet in an interview on December 27, 2023, that blackmail will not have much significance in Elvira Pitzner’s case. According to him, the courts in Dubai will only focus on the specific charges against her and decide whether she is guilty or not.
Lawyer in Dubai: Unthinkable that this would happen
Thomas Friis Nielsen estimated to Ekstrabladet that Elvira Pitzner, who was detained in Dubai, would hardly be able to come home for Christmas. There were still more court hearings to be held at that time, so it would require a quick settlement if she was to be allowed to leave Dubai before Christmas.
